On October 24th, Ninomiya announced his decision to leave his long-time agency via a statement on the fan club's website.

On March 15, Ninomiya Kazunari participated in a new image character presentation event for Ito Ham's 'The GRAND Alt Bayern.' This was his first public appearance after welcoming his first child earlier this month.
When the host congratulated him at the beginning of the event, Ninomiya bowed his head and expressed, "Thank you very much. There is nothing that makes me happier than the fact that she was born without any problems and that she will continue to grow healthily."
Ninomiya announced his marriage to a "non-celebrity" woman in November of 2019. When he announced the birth of his daughter on March 5, he had commented, "From now on, I will support my family as a father and will work harder than before, so everyone, I would appreciate it if you would watch over me warmly. Please continue to support me."

Arashi's Ninomiya Kazunari (37) is a father!
On March 5th, Ninomiya announced via Johnny's & Associates, "I apologize that this is a personal matter, but I have an announcement for everybody. The other day, my first child, a baby girl, was born. I feel relieved that she was born without any problems."He continued, "From now on, I will support my family as a father, and will work harder than before, so everyone, I would appreciate it if you would watch over me warmly. Please continue to support me." He also expressed his gratitude to all of the healthcare workers for their dedication and support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ninomiya married a "non-celebrity" woman, who is said to be former announcer Ito Ayako, in November of 2019. Congratulations!
The final episode of Arashi's documentary 'ARASHI's Diary -Voyage-' on Netflix will be released on February 28.
Since December of 2019, the series has been following Arashi's activities until they entered their hiatus on December 31, 2020. The final episode will feature the group's online live 'This is Arashi LIVE 2020.12.31,' which was the last event before their hiatus.
It's been reported that Ninomiya Kazunari will become a father this spring.
The news was published on the January 14th issue of gossip magazine 'Josei Seven.' According to someone close to Ninomiya's wife, the two have been slowly telling people around them since entering her second trimester. His wife has also been spotted walking around last December with a big belly.
Ninomiya and his wife tied the knot last November after dating for about four years. Apparently, the couple learned about the pregnancy around summertime, and since then, they have been staying home as much as possible due to the pandemic.

Arashi's new song "Party Starters" will be released in digital form on October 30.
Recorded in Los Angeles, "Party Starters" is a positive uptempo tune that was produced by Sam Hollander, who has worked with artists such as One Direction, Katy Perry, and Panic! At The Disco. This song has been picked up as the CM song for Softbank's 5G project.
Arashi will be revealing the lyric video for "Party Starters" on the song's release date, October 30 at 1:00 pm JST. They will also upload its music video on their debut anniversary day, November 3 at 1:00 pm JST. Stay tuned!

'Asadake!' ('The Asadas') has won the Best Asian Film Award (NETPAC Award) at the '36th Warsaw International Film Festival.'
Directed by Nakano Ryota, the movie was motivated by photographer Asada Masashi’s photography books 'Asadake' and 'Album no Chikara.' It stars Ninomiya Kazunari (Arashi), Tsumabuki Satoshi, Fubuki Jun, Kuroki Haru, and Suda Masaki.
The awards ceremony was held on October 17 in Warsaw, Poland. On 'Asadake!' the judging committee commented, "It was truly an inspiring and enjoyable film filled with hope that is needed for these current, chaotic times. We are conferring the Best Asian Film Award (NETPAC Award) for its wonderful portrayal of the sadness and joy of a unique family in which everyone has a big heart and is unwilling to give up on their pure dreams." This is the first Japanese film to be selected as the Best Asian Film at the Warsaw International Film Festival.
While Ninomiya and Nakano were unable to attend the ceremony due to COVID-19, they released a comment after receiving the good news. Ninomiya expressed, "Film festivals like these provide the opportunity for people around the world to watch our films. I think people were able to see the 'shape of family' that is relevant around the world." He continued, "It's an honor to receive this award, but after hearing people's impressions, and learning that 'Asadake!' became the reason that many people went to the theaters after a long time, made me very happy."
Nakano also stated, "I am very happy that this film has overcome language barriers and borders to be accepted from people abroad."

Arashi's live DVD and Blu-ray "ARASHI Anniversary Tour 5×20" will be released on September 30.
From November of 2018 to December of 2019, the group held their 20th anniversary tour which hosted 2,375,000 fans at 50 shows. The DVD and Blu-ray will feature their Tokyo Dome concert from December of 2019. The first press edition will come with a 72-page photo booklet.

Arashi will release a new digital single titled "IN THE SUMMER" on July 24.
Last November, the group released their first digital single "Turning Up," and from December, they have been releasing reproduced versions of their hit tracks as a part of their "Reborn" project. "IN THE SUMMER" comes about 8 months since their last digital single was released, and it was written by Rami Yacoub.
On Arashi's Twitter account, you can watch the boys promote the upcoming single in English.
