Shin Dong Yup ‘protects’ Eunhyuk regarding IU scandal on ‘Hello’

Shin Dong Yup sent a sympathetic look to Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk, while hinting at the scandal he recently had with IU.

On November 26th’s airing of ‘Hello‘, the other celebrity guests shared what their concerns were and when it was Eunhyuk’s turn, Shin Dong Yup sent him a sympathetic look while patting Eunhyuk’s shoulder. Shin Dong Yup then ended with, “Well~” but then another guest asked, “Why didn’t you ask Eunhyuk?” To this Shin Dong Yup humorously responded, “What’s the need to ask?”

Eunhyuk, who had a recent scandal with IU, just smiled with an awkward expression.

Shin Dong Yup’s ‘protection’ of Eunhyuk did not stop there. Lee Young Ja said, “I need someone to play the boyfriend” and asked Eunhyuk for help, but to this Shin Dong Yup said, “What are you talking about? Someone else do it.” So Sungmin acted out the part of the boyfriend.

Earlier this month, Eunhyuk and IU had a scandal when a photo of the two was accidentally uploaded onto Twitter.

Kim Tae Woo confesses to g.o.d. receiving a $5.5 million USD contract offer

Kim Tae Woo guested on the November 23rd episode of SBS‘s ‘Go Show‘ and confessed to having received a 6 billion won ($5,527,152) contract offer during his days as a member of g.o.d.

The singer revealed, “After g.o.d. had finished promotions for our fifth album and were preparing for the release of our sixth, all of the members’ contracts had expired. The main concern was whether we’d stay with Jin Young (J.Y. Park) hyung or not.”

He continued, “A famous company approached my father and offered a 6 billion won contract for the entire group. I had planned to gather the hyungs to discuss the offer but everyone decided to uphold their loyalties. Jun Hyung and Ho Young hyung decided to stay with Jin Young hyung while Danny and Kye Sang hyung signed on with their original companies again. I eventually wasn’t able to tell them.”

Concluding the story, he added, “I recently met with the hyungs and confessed for the first time that I had received such an offer.”

When MC Yoon Jong Shin asked who was the most angry upon finding out, he replied, “It was actually the nicest hyung, Ho Young. He yelled at me, asking why I had never mentioned it when I had said all sorts of other stories on TV. Kye Sang hyung was also unable to hold in his anger, threatening that he’d kill me.

Eunhyuk joins the panel of Come to Play’s new variety corner, ‘Suspicious Mountain Cabin’

A still cut of Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk first recording on MBC‘s ‘Come to Play‘ was recently released online, giving fans a first glimpse of the show’s new corner, ‘Suspicious Mountain Cabin‘.

The corner is the show’s first attempt at a ‘sleep talk show variety’ where guests fall asleep in a mysterious cabin and are later woken up by cellphone to complete various missions.

Eunhyuk joined the corner as a regular panelist, making this his first time working with MC Yoo Jae Suk. Although he’s had plenty of experience working with Kang Ho Dong on past variety shows, Eunhyuk didn’t let any first meeting awkwardness get in the way, as he was said to have warmed right up to Yoo Jae Suk, playing up their ‘anchovy line’ for much laughter.

Joining Eunhyuk in the cast list include Kwon Oh Joong, Jung Chan, Kwanghee, and Sunhwa.

Eunhyuk’s mother holds first interview since his scandal with IU

The mother of Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk, who was recently involved in a scandal with IU, has opened up her feelings for the very first time through an interview with ‘Styler Housewife‘ magazine.

The magazine sat down with Eunhyuk’s mother to talk about her thoughts on Eunhyuk and IU’s scandal, beginning with Eunhyuk’s latest appearance at his parents’ new bakery shortly after his scandal came to light. According to the magazine, the bakery is covered in Eunhyuk’s pictures as well as post-its left by fans of Super Junior.

Eunhyuk’s mother proudly stated, “Whenever the members’ parents open stores like this, the fans help out with the interior decorating. Yesung‘s parents also recently opened a cafe and the fans helped decorate the same way.”

There were also congratulatory flowers standing outside the bakery, one of which caught the attention of the interviewer as it was sent by Lee Seung Gi. His mother replied, “I heard that they’re actually close. They have gatherings for celebrities born in ’86.”

Finally, on the topic of Eunhyuk’s whereabouts since his scandal, she stated, “We don’t talk about those things with Eunhyuk. Eunhyuk has always done well on his own, so…”

Another staff member helping out at the bakery added, “Eunhyuk’s always been filial to his parents since he was younger. Not only Eunhyuk, but his entire household is filled with people nice to the bone.”

Eunhyuk shows support for Yesung’s cafe ‘Mouse Rabbit’

Eunhyuk showed his support for fellow Super Junior member Yesung.

On November 11th, Yesung had opened a cafe with his younger brother titled ‘Mouse Rabbit‘. To show support for his hyung, Eunhyuk visited the cafe. On the 16th, Yesung posted two photos onto his Twitter to thank Eunhyuk for visiting and help promoting his new cafe.

He wrote, “My good-looking little brother Eunhyuk paid a surprise visit ^^ Next it’s my turn..^^“, implying that he would also pay a visit to Eunhyuk’s parents’ bakery. When fans saw the photos, they commented, “It’s good to see the members so close to each other“, “I’m glad to see Eunhyuk’s happy face“, and “You’re both cute!“.
