Yesung clarifies that his extreme diet method garnering attention is from 3 years ago + he's gained weight now

Super Junior's Yesung spoke up via his SNS to clarify his extreme dieting method, which became a hot topic online after his appearance on the June 24 broadcast of 'Mr. Radio'. 

During his radio appearance, Yesung talked about an extreme diet method he used after being discharged from his mandatory service, where he ate only one meal every two days. Various news outlets reported Yesung's statement, and the diet method became a topic of debate among netizens. Yesung even became a trending topic on search engines like Daum, worrying fans. 

On June 25, he clarified on his SNS, "Why are they writing articles about my diet method from 3 years ago like I used it for this comeback..? This comeback, I didn't lose weight, I gained."

Yesung revealed his incredibly strict diet plan that led him to a rapid rate of weight loss.

The Super Junior member, who recently made a comeback with his mini-album 'Pink Magic,' appeared on the June 24 broadcast of 'Yoon Jung Soo and Nam Chang Hee's Mr. Radio.' He revealed that he lost 8kg (17 pounds) in one month by eating one meal every two days!

Yesung apparently went on a diet to prepare for his comeback and wanted to showcase his jawline, stating, "After going to the military, I didn't want to show a weak version of myself to the fans."

Super Junior's 'Sorry Sorry' officially surpasses 100 million YouTube views!

The music video for Super Junior's hit song "Sorry Sorry" has officially surpassed 100 million views!

The video reached this major milestone in the early morning of December 24. "Sorry Sorry" is the third Super Junior single to reach this number of YouTube views, following "Mr. Simple" and "Bonamana." The music video for "No Other" is trailing closely behind, currently at nearly 84 million views.

"Sorry Sorry" was the title track of Super Junior's third full-length album of the same name, which was released back in March 2009.

40 girl group members including Gugudan, Cosmic Girls, Weki Meki, CLC, & more to appear on 'Super TV'!

Super Junior will have an upcoming, grand-scale episode of 'Super TV'!

'Super TV' is Super Junior's very own variety show airing on XtvN, and for this week's episode, they'll be bringing on 40 girl group members including those from Cosmic Girls, Weki Meki, Gugudan, fromis_9, and CLC.

The group plan on having a spring athletics meet with the girl group members. The episode will air over a course of two weeks.

Super Junior's upcoming 8th repackaged album 'Replay' contains a total of 14 tracks, including their Latin pop title track "Lo Siento" plus 3 new tracks. Later today on April 4 at 6PM KST, SMTOWN will be releasing the first video teaser for Super Junior's comeback.

Super Junior celebrate the 8th anniversary of official fanclub ELF

The Super Junior members all took to Twitter to celebrate the eighth anniversary of their official fanclub, ELF!  
Donghae wrote, "8th year for ELF ^^ Love you!  It was the same in the past, will continue in the future, and we will love you until death do us apart!! :)  I love you so much it's crazy!! heh," and uploaded the picture above.

Ryeowook wrote, "There are a lot of listeners saying they were an ELF.  They say it's the eighth anniversary (yahoo) ^^  They may have forgotten, but we are grateful, even those feelings back then ^^ We will be better to the ELF of today, thank you ♡," and, "HARU ~* E.L.F. ♡ SUPER JUNIOR 8 sincerely Thank YOU~ are the ONE.  Will begin today's radio with a Super Junior song!  Will you accept my heart, ELF?  Kekekekeke."

  It seems like Kyuhyun, Donghae, Eunhyuk, Shindong, Ryeowook, and even the enlisted Yesung went to manager Jung Hoon's wedding. Yesung wrote, "It's been a while .. ^^" with the above picture.

Congratulations to Super Junior on their eighth anniversary!

Super Junior's eighth anniversary is on November 6, which means they have already started celebrations in Korea! When midnight struck in Korea, fans immediately trended "Super Junior" worldwide on Twitter.

Siwon had updated his Weibo the day before with, "Look forward to tomorrow.  There will be a fun eighth anniversary," and uploaded a picture as perhaps a teaser of what's to come.  In the picture, Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Siwon have gathered to stare into the camera humorously.  While Eunhyuk and Donghae are casually wearing their baseball cap backwards, Siwon looks hilarious in the middle with his white eyebrows and mustache.  Today, Siwon tweeted, "so lovely. thanks," and uploaded a picture of a coffee with the cute message, "Super Junior 8th Anniversary Elf."

In addition, member Yesung had tweeted a message thanking his fans, "Eight years since our debut.. ELF !  While I am alone at the moment, thank you for always allowing me to feel your sincere love all the time ^^ Even in the future, I will sing sincerely.. Thank you so much, truly, for staying by my side.. When I feel frustrated, lonely, or am having a hard time, I think of ELF and regain my strength ^^ Let's spend 2015 together--you guys and the other member--for sure..^^"  In 2015, the boys would be celebrating an amazing milestone of ten years!

Shindong posted on social media, "8th anniversary!! Bba-bam!" and uploaded a cute selca.  Ryeowook also uploaded a picture in which he is holding a poster from the listeners of his 'Sukira' radio program and tweeted, "Thank you ~~~ from.  Sukira Listeners keke thank you for congratulating us on the eighth anniversary ~~~♥"

Congratulations on the anniversary, Super Junior! For 'Super Show 5', Super Junior will be performing in Mexico City at Mexico City Arena on November 7 and in London at Wembley Arena on November 9.

Eunhyuk shows support for Yesung’s cafe ‘Mouse Rabbit’

Eunhyuk showed his support for fellow Super Junior member Yesung.

On November 11th, Yesung had opened a cafe with his younger brother titled ‘Mouse Rabbit‘. To show support for his hyung, Eunhyuk visited the cafe. On the 16th, Yesung posted two photos onto his Twitter to thank Eunhyuk for visiting and help promoting his new cafe.

He wrote, “My good-looking little brother Eunhyuk paid a surprise visit ^^ Next it’s my turn..^^“, implying that he would also pay a visit to Eunhyuk’s parents’ bakery. When fans saw the photos, they commented, “It’s good to see the members so close to each other“, “I’m glad to see Eunhyuk’s happy face“, and “You’re both cute!“.

Eunhyuk and Yesung win $5300 on quiz show

Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk and Yesung won 5.9 million KRW (approximately $5,300 USD) on the latest episode of ‘100 Million Quiz Show‘.

The pair battled Heo Kyung Hwan and Choi Song Hyun for the prize.

The final answer that Eunhyuk and Yesung answered correctly was the question that asked, “Why is seaweed called ‘kim’?“, which would award them with 2 million KRW (approximately $1,800 USD) in addition to their previous accumulated earnings. The choices were ‘because it’s long‘, ‘because the person who harvested seaweed had the last name of kim‘, ‘because it’s as precious as gold‘, and ‘because it’s from Gyeongnam Kimhae‘.

Yesung reasoned, “When you start a business, you input your name or your initials, so I think #2 is the correct answer.” His reasoning was correct, and the answer brought them up to 5.9 million KRW ($5,300 USD). However, they failed to double the amount for the following question in the next round, but they were still able to take home the 5.9 million KRW.
