Shinhwa to Appear in ‘Chinese Idol’ as Special Guests

During their stay in Shanghai, the Shinhwa members weren’t just making 15,000 fans go crazy , but also appearing as special guests on Chinese Idol.

On June 28, Shinhwa Company announced that on June 30, Shinhwa will be appearing on Dragon TV’s Chinese Idol “With this news, we’ve been receiving explosive response from Chinese and Korean fans alike.”

Chinese Idol is the equivalent to USA’s singing audition program, American Idol.

The filming of Shinhwa’s appearance took place on June 23, making fans rush to the station to catch a glimpse of Shinhwa.

“We’re very honored to be invited as special guests and perform on a such a huge audition program in China,” said Shinhwa Company. “From the Shanghai concert to Chinese Idol, we wanbt to thank all the Chinese fans for their passionate support and interest.”

Meanwhile, Shinhwa will be heading to Indonesia to participate in Mnet’s M COUNTDOWN – Halo Indonesia on July 3.

Song Joong Ki's label denies rumors of August enlistment

 

Rumors that Song Joong Ki would be enlisting in the army in August had left many fans in despair, but it looks like the rumors aren't true.

Rumors spread when a representative in the movie industry said, "I've been told that Song Joong Ki cannot push his enlistment back date any further. Since he's so well loved by the public and his acting ability is very good, he wants to work continue to work, but his situation won't allow him to do so." Another said, "Since he's the hottest thing right now, many producers contacted him recently. But because of his enlistment, he can't realistically talk about it."

However, his label has denied the rumors as they stated, "He didn't even receive a summon. We're in a difficult situation because of the rumors that he's going to be enlisting in August. He's currently actively looking for his next project, so we're sad this rumor spread. He's going to be choosing his next project with care."

A psychologist examines Son Ho Young's mental state

Many were devastated when Son Ho Young tried to commit suicide, but some pointed fingers and claimed that he was doing it for attention and pity because of the fact that he had moved out from the car when it caught on fire.

Thankfully, a psychiatrist came out to defend Son Ho Young and his mental state. On 'One Night of TV Entertainment', Professor Seo Jong Hwan said, "It's the method that his girlfriend chose, so it was probably not on purpose. It's the method someone close to him chose, so it is possible that he thought of it unconsciously. Also, a part of his girlfriend's will has words that provokes guilt. He may be thinking, 'What kind of reason did I give her (to commit suicide)' or  'Why wasn't I able to understand how she felt?' Those thoughts must have gone to the extreme."

On escaping the burning car, he explained, "It's that his body responded instinctively. Even if he wanted to stay, he couldn't have helped it. There are parts of him that might have wanted to die, but there are parts of him that wanted to live. Even if you want to die, it's another thing all together whether you can die bearing all the pain."
