MBLAQ's Seung Ho takes his 1st leading role in movie 'Rock 'n' Roll Grandpa'

Ohhh yeah finally!!!!!!!!

MBLAQ's Seung Ho will be taking his first leading role in the music movie 'Rock 'n' Roll Grandpa'!

According this his label, he'll be playing Ki Ho Tae, a 20 year old who works in cold storage. He's a bright youth who never loses sight of his dreams. The movie talks about a young man who has big dreams and an old man who has lost his dreams. The pair communicate through music in nature.

His label said, "This will be his first time acting since his debut. He's nervous because it's his first time acting, and he's working hard practicing guitar and acting because he's a guitarist in the movie. He's working hard, so please show a lot of interest."

The movie is aimed at an October release next year.

J.Tune Camp releases official statement regarding their former employee hitting Seung Ho

  After confirming the situation, J.Tune Camp has now released their official statement regarding the incident between MBLAQ's Seung Ho and their former employee. The agency wrote, "'A' is not a current employee of J.Tune Camp, but a former employee. 'A' left the agency 2 years ago, and he and Seung Ho recently met up with other acquaintances for the first time in a while to have drinks. But while they were conversing, they got into a misunderstanding. Whatever the reason was, we apologize for having brought you such news."   They also updated on the current situation, adding, "After the police investigation, Seung Ho and 'A' resolved their misunderstanding. So there will not be further investigations into the matter. We are sorry for concerning you with such an incident." As mentioned before, Seung Ho initially called the police to say that he had been hit with a glass cup, causing his ear to bleed, after getting into an argument with the former agency employee. MBLAQ Featured on Mexican News Site as One of 2013′s Best International Artists

 

Idol group MBLAQ was chosen by a Mexican media outlet as one of the most notable international artists of 2013. 
Mexican news site “El Universal” chose the artists of the year, including Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Muse, and etc. MBLAQ’s hit song “Mona Lisa” was in first place there for 40 weeks straight, and their songs “Smoky Girl” and “This is War” were really popular, as well.
Last year, the “MBLAQ Global Tour Sensation” started in Mexico, and gathered over 10,000 fans. A local media official commented, “We’ve had K-Pop performances here before, but none of them were perfectly successful. MBLAQ’s performance was different.”
J.  Tune Camp, MBLAQ’s agency, said, “It’s a huge honor, and we are very happy. We will do our absolute best with MBLAQ’s new album, and will return the fans’ love with a great comeback.”

MBLAQ hints at a Christmas surprise for their fans!

It appears that MBLAQ will be giving their fans a special gift on Christmas Eve! MBLAQ celebrate their 4th anniversary + announce upcoming Seoul concert this November

MBLAQ celebrated their 4th anniversary on October 15 and announced their upcoming concert in Seoul!
Seung Ho thanked his A+ on Twitter, "It is finally MBLAQ's 4th anniversary nyahahaha. I thank A+ who have always been by our side up until now. I will grow older with a better image, and let's continue to see each other until I become a grandpa hehe Good night♥."

G.O. tweeted, "MBLAQ's 4th anniversary! I sincerely thank you A+ who never fail to pour out their love through the rain or snow! I love you♥." Mir also tweeted, "It's MBLAQ's 4th anniversary~ Thank you A+ who have been our shield for the past four years~!!! You've been with us for four years, so it seems you'll have to continue to stick with us in the future.. Thank you~+_+!!!!!!!!!!!"

J.Tune Camp further revealed a special anniversary gift, "MBLAQ's 2013 global tour concert, 'Sensation', which was held in Mexico and Japan will now be held in Seoul on November 23... It will be a sensational concert with flashy performances and special effects, and it will showcase new sides of the members."

MBLAQ to bring back memories as the New Kids on the Block for 'SNL Korea'

 

Ever pictured what MBLAQ would've looked like if they debuted in the '90s? Well, fans got a good image of what that would've been like when MBLAQ transformed into a retro boy group on 'SNL Korea'. 

Still cuts released for the upcoming episode show MBLAQ going back in time with their bandanas, overalls, and over-the-top hairstyles, bringing back memories as the popular boy band of the '80s and '90s, New Kids on the Block. 

A representative commented, "MBLAQ will pretend to fight for popular girl Kim Seul Gi. The members, who are known for their variety show skills and acting abilities, will bring laughs with their self-disses, parodies, and outrageous humor."

MBLAQ's mini album 'Sexy Beat' to be released on June 4th

 

MBLAQ previously hinted on their comeback for the first week of June and it seems the specific date will actually be June 4th!

MBLAQ's copyright request to the The Korea Copyright Association was spotted, giving fans a sneak peek at the group's album's title, tracklist and release date. 

According to the listing, the upcoming 5th mini album is titled 'SEXY BEAT' contains the tracks, "CELEBRATE", "DRESS UP", "R U OK", "SEXY BEAT", "Girl", and "SMOKY GIRL". The songs also include the participation of talented producers and artists like Zion.T, Simon D, Primary, Crush, Maybee, and more!

So if things go according to plan for the boys, it seems we'll be saying 'Oh Yeah' soon enough because MBLAQ will return on June 4th!

MBLAQ to come back first week of June with "Smokey Girl"!

Every A+ has been eagerly waiting to hear these words: MBLAQ is coming back!

MBLAQ recently held a photoshoot with 'Cosmopolitan' magazine, and they revealed more details of their long awaited comeback. 

During the interview, they confirmed that they're coming back in June along with the name of their title track. Mir said, "The song 'Smokey Girl' is really addicting. The choreography is also very sexy. I hope you look forward to it." 

Seungho added on, "MBLAQ is planning on coming back in the first week of June, so please look forward to it." We don't have much information about the album yet, but what more news could we need than that they're coming back?

Seungho dyes his hair blue; is MBLAQ gearing up for a comeback soon?

MBLAQ has left numerous hints at their comeback and it looks like it may be closer than you think.

Designer Kwak Hyun Joo posed with members Seungho and G.O at her studio and shared the photo onto her Facebook with a caption, “MBLAQ’s Seungho and G.O are so cool~ We decided on cool clothing~“.

Her post could have meant that she was preparing the clothes for MBLAQ’s comeback, but fans noticed something else as a potential sign: Seungho’s hair was dyed a bright blue! Seungho had gone for various hair colors before, including black, brown, and blonde, but the bright blue is new look for him.

[SPOILER] Surprising elimination on ‘Dancing With the Stars 3′

MBLAQ‘s Seungho was sadly eliminated from ‘Dancing With the Stars 3‘!

On the April 26 episode, the contestants tried their hand at sports dancing. ‘Original dancing queen’ Kim Wan Sun put on a show and won for the 2nd consecutive week. She was incredibly happy about her win, saying, “I feel so happy because I didn’t expect it.” Her partner Kim Hyung Suk added, “It feels good. Thank you.”

Unfortunately things didn’t turn out so well for Seungho.

The Seungho-Son Jin Joo pair and Kim Dae Ho-Choi Soo Jung pair were then announced to be the bottom two dance partners for the episode and faced elimination. In the end, Seungho was the one to be eliminated and Seungho gave his departing remarks, “I was happy to work hard in a new experience with such a great staff. I’m thankful and apologize to my teacher, Son Jin Joo.” His dance partner also added, “I’m thankful to Seungho for practicing early into the morning even when he was busy. I’m disappointed we were eliminated, but I think we’ll have other chances.”

Since Seungho had been often praised for his dancing and had even won #1 on an episode, the elimination surprised both the cast and viewers alike.

Seungho won his first victory on ‘Dancing With the Stars 3‘!

The contestants tackled Paso Doble this time around, and Seungho turned into a passionate vampire on stage for his partner Son Jin Joo. He was so happy when he was named the winner that he high-fived his partner, and said, “I feel so good“. He even started to dance where he was on stage.

In fact, he was so happy that he took to his Twitter afterwards to write, “Ahhhh! I won 1st place on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ today! Thank you to everyone who supported me, and A+ I love you! Heh“.

Fei and Seungho take on Rumba with their latest performances on ‘Dancing With The Stars 3′

miss A‘s Fei and MBLAQ‘s Seungho showcased more of their dancing abilities they’ve challenged themselves to under the guidance of their partners on the latest episode of ‘Dancing With The Stars 3‘!

Seungho and his partner Son Jin Ju danced the Rumba to “Killing Me Softly With This Song“. The judges commented that they seemed too much like friends during what was supposed to be a romantic performance, but they also complimented Seungho on his improved footwork. The pair received a total of 20 points.

As Fei hinted previously, she and Kim Soo Ro danced the Rumba to Wonder Girls‘ “Nobody“. The judges commented that her attention to detail was perfect and it was like watching a romantic film, and gave the pair a total of 23 points. Label mate Baek Ah Yeon also showed her enthusiastic support and Lim and Yubin also provided Fei with a few pointers.

miss A‘s Fei and MBLAQ‘s Seungho showcased more of their dancing abilities on the latest episode of ‘Dancing With the Stars 3‘!

Seungho and his partner Son Jin Ju showed their growing chemistry while trying their hands at the Jive dance to the classic tune “The Lion Sleeps Tonight“.

The Fei and Kim Soo Ro pair showed their flexibility and charisma while dancing the Samba to “What A Feeling“. Fellow miss A member Min also came to show her enthusiastic support as she cheered wildly.

Fei received a total of 21 points while Seungho received 20 points.

Fans were finally able to catch MBLAQ‘s Seungho, miss A‘s Fei, and more perform for the first time on ‘Dancing With the Stars 3‘!

Seungho and his partner Son Jin Ju gave a dazzling performance of the Vienna Waltz with his partner to “Scarborough Fair“. He received good reviews from the judges who complimented him on his pro-like stage and wished for him to show more of his chemistry with his partner and talent during his next performance.

Fei also performed the Swing dance to the song “Puttin on the ritz” with her partner Kim Soo Ro and impressed the judges with her natural dancing ability.

Ultimately, it was ‘Korea’s Madonna’ Kim Wan Sun who won first place for this episode by garnering the highest total of 22 points.

Mir and Seungho collaborate with SISTAR’s Soyu on ‘Immortal Song 2′

MBLAQ‘s Mir and Seungho collaborated with SISTAR‘s Soyu on the latest ‘Immortal Song 2‘.

For the March 16th episode, the three idols covered the ‘immortal’ song “You Like Me, I Like You“. Seungho stated, “To be honest, I got a little greedy for today. The light switched off on us last week, and it didn’t feel good,” expressing that he felt disappointed about the MBLAQ team losing on the previous broadcast.

Seungho prepared a piano performance, while Mir added a smooth rap and Soyu wowed the crowd with her signature vocals.

However, WAX was able to receive more points, and Lee Ji Hyung took home the trophy for his first stage on the show.
