INFINITE performs 'Request' for the first time at their Bangkok concert

INFINITE performed their newest song "Request" for the first time in Bangkok! 
The boys were in Thailand in Bangkok's Thunder Dome for their 'One Great Step' world tour stop. The boys had released the song on the 27th, and it had never been seen before, but Thai fans were quite lucky as they were the first ever to see it performed!

The boys announced the song by saying, "We're going to reveal the stage we've never shown anyone else to you first."

The concert organizers said, "We were surprised because even though it was a new song, Thai fans actively enjoyed the concert and sang along to the lyrics."

Song Joong Ki's flower boy looks haven't changed in the army

  A photo of Song Joong Ki in an army uniform has surfaced!
The photo was released onto an online community, and even though it looks like Song Joong Ki's lost a bit of weight from his army training, the hard training hasn't done anything to his good looks!

He's only been in the army for a few weeks now, as he enlisted last month on the 27th to the 102nd reserve.

Eunhyuk posts picture with adorable pet dog Choco

Maybe it's becoming a trend for male idols to take pictures with adorable dogs! Recently, Hyungsik posted a selca with a cute foreigner dog, Puzzle.  Eunhyuk has done the same on his Twitter with his own pet dog, Choco.

On September 30, Eunhyuk tweeted, "Mung mung, I'm home!  Choco, bark."

In the attached picture, Eunhyuk is holding his pet dog Choco and puckering up for a kiss.  While most girls would probably kill for such a chance, Choco looks slightly alarmed and hesitant.  Perhaps Choco gets this too much, is playing hard to get, or just always looks like that.

Regardless, Eunhyuk looks very affectionate and Choco is absolutely adorable.  Hopefully, they can spend plenty of time together while he prepares for Super Junior's concert 'Super Show 5' at the Mall of Asia Arena in the Philippines.  The concert will be on October 24!

L's fansites have temporarily closed + Kim Do Yeon's past tweet targeted L?

 

It appears that after the dating rumor between INFINITE's L (Myungsoo) and ulzzang Kim Do Yeon, many of his fan sites have temporarily closed. 

One of his fan pages called 'Master of Affection' left this message for all his fans on the main page: "Taking a small break as we've dashed forward only looking ahead.  Myungsoo, you said you wanted to be a shining light.  Didn't your fans go deeper into the darkness in order to make you shine?  Then you should've protected yourself more preciously."  

Another fan page 'Focus L' wrote, "It only takes a fleeting moment for a star in the sky to become a falling star.  Search once more to discover what kind of life you lead," and subsequently closed the fan site.

Other L fan sites that have temporarily closed their pages include 'L's Wings,' 'Made in L,' 'High L,' 'PS Lovely,' and 'Runaway.' 

Meanwhile, L's agency Woollim Entertainment are denying any romantic relationship between the two, saying they are just friends who met only a short time ago.

Netizens also dug up a tweet Kim Do Yeon left just a day before the rumors began blowing up. According to the tweet on September 26 that started this rumor, she and L had an argument the day before, which would be on September 25.  On this day, she had tweeted, "I don't like cowards," and netizens are now wondering if that was directed at L.

[Updated] Additional alleged photos of INFINITE's L and Kim Do Yeon surface + Woollim finally responds to dating rumors

    With the dating rumors of INFINITE's L and choco-holic ulzzang Kim Do Yeon flying about since the early morning, more photos have surfaced from fans who claim the photos above are of L and Kim Do Yeon grocery shopping together. With the issue blowing up and unable to remain silent any longer, Woollim has finally responded.

The agency commented, "L and Kim Do Yeon became close friends after being acquainted through a mutual friend... However, they are not dating like it has been said."

They further added, "INFINITE, including L, even now, are hard at work on their world tour."

Another rep offered a bit more details as he said, "Kim Do Yeon is one of many friends that L came to know towards the start of their world tour through another friend... From what I know, they are just two among many close friends. They are not a couple."


[Update] - Reps of the agency are now speaking to media outlets over the phone, going more in depth about the situation. 

One rep told a media outlet, "INFINITE has been on a world tour starting August. Currently, INFINITE, their managers, and staff are at Bangkok. We weren't able to confirm it with him until later so our official statement was also late... Due to the rehearsals and tour preparations, the members and reps are all very busy...The two are just friends who came to know one another due to another friend. It hasn't been all that long since they've been friends. They're not dating like it's been said."

Another rep said, "Because L was handling schedule overseas, it took us some time to confirm. He said they are just simply friends... He wasn't aware of all the matching clothes and shoes and is quite shocked himself... He met Kim Do Yeon at a gathering with friends, and became close with her along with others." Regarding Kim Do Yeon's tweet, the rep said, "Since Kim Do Yeon is close with L, it seems like she was just expressing her affection also in the point of view as a fan, it doesn't seem like it means anything more than that."

As for the 'Do Yeon' L listed in the 'Thanks To' section of the group's album, one rep said, "We don't know if that Do Yeon is that Do Yeon.

SS501 Heo Young-saeng to Drop New Album in October, Join Military in November

Korean boy group SS501 member Heo Young-saeng [B2M Entertainment]

  K-pop group SS501 member Heo Young-saeng will release his new record next month and join the army the following month.
The artist is currently readying to release his new solo album in October and will be having a concert in Seoul late October before he enters army in November, an official with Heo’s agency B2M Entertainment told TenAsia on Wedesday.
However, the exact enlist date and recruit training center to serve his mandatory 21-month military service have not been confirmed yet.
The concert is scheduled to be held at the UNIQLO-AX Hall on October 26, but the B2M official explained that there still is a chance to change the venue.
Debuted in 2005 as member of Korean boy group SS501, the 28-year-old artist made his solo debut with “Let It Go” in 2011.
The singer has released his third mini-album, also the latest record, ”LIFE” this March.

Lee Min Ho goes surfing in Malibu California for 'Heirs'

Lee Min Ho took part in one of the favorite hobbies of many California residents, surfing, for 'Heirs'!

The new still cuts show Lee Min Ho surfing in Malibu, California for his drama which was filmed on the 17th. The actor looked like a handsome surfer with his bodysuit which highlighted his muscular arms and surfboard. 

Lee Min Ho shared, "The waves were higher than I expected so it was difficult to swim in the water but there was fun in the twist. In order to film vivid scenes, the staff who jumped in the water with me suffered a lot. The sunlight was so intense that I got tanned dark even while wearing a bodysuit. All of the filming crew's faces became tanned. To our suffering 'Heirs' team, fighting!"

Is INFINITE's L dating ulzzang choco-holic Kim Do Yeon?

The world of K-pop is currently ablaze with dating rumors and scandals.  To keep everyone updated, so far Soyeon and Oh Jong Hyuk have confirmed to be dating while Kim Woo Bin and Yoo Ji Ahn have also confirmed their relationship and actor Jung Kyung Ho revealed that he has a girlfriend. 

In addition, there have been rumors about whether Sulli is dating Dynamic Duo's Choiza.  Now, joining the list, is a new rumor that INFINITE's L is dating ulzzang Kim Do Yeon who is known for her statement of eating 1.2 tons of chocolate over the past 6 years on tvN's 'Martian Virus'.

The ulzzang recently tweeted, 

"Are you watching?  You're no longer a midget!  Even though you're no longer a nobody, I will always be by your side and as I'm not going to change, I will demand an explanation if you, innocent as usual, go to one of those clubs or parties you dislike and I will be jealous if you hang out with another friend.  However, we will always be together until the end of our lives.  Let's never fight like we did yesterday.  I love you."

While there seems to be no obvious connection to L if you read the translated message in English, there's a different story in Korean:

"ㄴ 보고파 명수야"

The hidden message in her Tweet if you take the first character that starts each line reads, "ㄴ(L) 보고파 명수야" which means "L, I miss you, Myungsoo" (Myungsoo being his legal name).  As her Tweet is receiving a lot of attention, Kim Do Yeon explained, "I'm speaking to a friend," and then went on to remove the entire message.  However, the Tweet was saved via a screenshot and is of course going viral on the internet.

Unsurprisingly, netizens have discovered pictures to support the possibility that they may be involved in a relationship, such as one picture of them wearing the same T-shirt and brand name wristwatch.  Also, in the INFINITE album 'Thanks To,' L included the name 'Do Yeon' in his list of people whom he wishes to thank.

Of course this is all speculation and the connections between the two could be merely coincidence.  However, it appears the netizens are doing their research and won't stop until they figure out what's going on!

Son Ho Young currently has no plans to return to the entertainment industry

  Son Ho Young, who attempted suicide earlier this year, has been revealed to have no plans to return to the entertainment industry at the moment.

According to recent reports, his agency stated, "He's living a normal lifestyle. We have not discussed a comeback at all."

The singer attempted suicide shortly after his late girlfriend's suicide on May 21 of this year. She was found dead in his car with a fire pot in which she burned 3 coal briquettes, an empty bottle of sleeping pills, and 2 cartons of soju.

Netizens commented, "I'm glad he's living normally," "I was curious about him," and "I hope Son Ho Young returns."

Hopefully, Son Ho Young will recover soon.

INFINITE L's photo essay 'L's Bravo Viewtiful Part 2' hits #1 on bestseller list

  Part 2 of INFINITE L's photo essay 'L's Bravo Viewtiful Part 1' has landed at #1 on the domestic bestseller list!
As soon as pre-orders opened up for the book earlier this month on the 4th, it immediately rose to the top of various online sites. On the 25th, it officially hit #1 bestseller for arts and popular culture on sites like Yes24, Interpark, Bandinlunis, and more, beating out popular novels like Jo Jung Rae's 'Jungle Manri'. 
For the photo essay, L revealed his day-to-day moments as an average young man in his twenties rather than documenting his life as an idol star. His personally taken photos, drawings, and writings seem to have made an impression on readers.

L commented, "I hope that readers see the photos I took day to day and each page of this book and feel the happiness as well as sincerity I felt. I hope they're able to get some comfort in their daily lives through it."

INFINITE reveals MV teaser for 'Request'

To help endorse their new Galaxy series including the Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch, Samsung has recruited three artists to make "Galaxy Songs". These artists include INFINITE, CNBLUE, and ICONA POP.

Earlier today, an MV teaser for INFINITE's "Galaxy Song" which is titled " Request" was revealed on Woollim's official YouTube channel. In the teaser, the boys prominently display Samsung Galaxy products. The full MV for "Request" will be revealed on September 27.

INFINITE wear hanboks to celebrate Chuseok during their world tour

Although the boys of INFINITE are spending their Chuseok abroad with fans on their first world tour 'One Great Step', they proved that their hearts are still in Korea. In celebration of the holiday, they each donned colorful hanboks while they performed in Japan.

INFINITE had an original idea to enter the stage atop what looks like a blue van and dressed in traditional Korean hanboks from head to toe. Thus, they hoped to do their Chuseok greetings, while simultaneously showing the Korean culture to their Japanese audience.

In addition, the boys carried baskets filled with presents, such as handwritten letters, paper airplanes, and more, which they threw at their fans.

The boys said in fluent Japanese: "It is Chuseok today in Korea. Chuseok is a national holiday. It is even one of the most important holidays along with Lunar New Year. On Chuseok, people wear hanboks to greet guests. We wore hanboks to greet all of you."

Super Junior take snapshots in Germany and the supermarket

  Super Junior's Eunhyuk shared a snapshot of the group hanging out in Germany.

He tweeted on the 17th, "Four young people in the young people's country Germany," along with the adorable photo above of himself, Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Donghae.

While they enjoyed their time overseas, Kangin and Heechul had their fun at the supermarket. Kangin tweeted on the 18th, "We went food shopping. Please have a good Chuseok, everyone."

Fans responded, "Super Junior in Germany. They have a busy schedule, but they look like they're having fun," "The background is so beautiful. May your friendship be forever," "Heechul food shopping, what did he buy," and "Kangin hasn't shaved yet."
