Lee Min Ho's agency Starhaus Entertainment forms a strategic partnership with Chinese entertainment company

It has been revealed that Lee Min Ho's agency Starhaus Entertainment and Chinese entertainment company Huayi Brothers have formed a strategic partnership for the actor's promotions in China and more. A Starhaus Entertainment rep told TV Report, "Starhaus has been preparing a branch in China... Our relationship [with Huayi Brothers] has been good since Lee Min Ho's concert in 2009. Starhaus China and Huayi Brothers plan to have a friendly business cooperation with each other."   Huayi Brothers previously played a role in the opening of Lee Min Ho's concerts and fan meetings in Beijing and Shanghai since 2009 and will continue the good relationship they've established with a partnership.
This probably means that Lee Min Ho's Chinese fans have more to look forward to!

Kim Tae Woo and Yoon Kye Sang's agencies deny rumors of g.o.d comeback

Rumors that old-school idol group g.o.d will be making a comeback have arisen once again.

Though many fans would love to see it happen, Yoon Kye Sang and Kim Tae Woo's agencies have stated that nothing has been confirmed. A rep from Yoon Kye Sang's agency confirmed, "It's true that there's been an offer for a g.o.d reunion, and we're currently thinking about it." 
As for a song that's been floating around with g.o.d's name on it, the rep explained, "We understand that Kim Tae Woo did the guide vocals for it." Kim Tae Woo's side said, "It's talk that's been out there for a while, but nothing has been confirmed. Everyone is doing individual promotions and have different agencies... The song is one that Kim Tae Woo has had, and he sang the guide vocals for it."    Unfortunately, it looks like we won't be seeing them back as five anytime soon!

INFINITE's L expresses his thoughts on joining MBC drama 'Cunning Single Lady'

INFINITE's L, who has been confirmed for new MBC drama 'Cunning Single Lady', expressed his thoughts on expanding his idol-turned actor image as he takes on his next project. 'Cunning Single Lady' is a romantic comedy drama about a man called Cha Jung Woo (played by Joo Sang Wook) who becomes a chaebol after getting divorced and his ex-wife who tries to win him back. L will play the role of Cha Jung Woo's assistant who offers Cha Jung Woo much advice and friendship. L shared, "It is an honor for me to work with Joo Sang Wook sunbaenim and other awesome actor sunbaenims for 'Cunning Single Lady'... Through this production, I will do my best to grow to be a more solid actor."   The production company also remarked, "L will play the role of assistant Gil who throws frank remarks at the CEO played by Joo Sang Wook... Please look forward to L's detailed emotional acting as well as his comic acting."   'Cunning Single Lady' will premiere following 'Miss Korea' next month!

Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye deny Chinese report that they're dating

Both Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye denied reports that they were in a relationship.   On the 26th, Chinese media reported that the two 'Heirs' leads had been secretly dating for two months. However, the media presented no proof, just repeated that the two of them were dating. Both sides expressed that they were flustered with the report. Park Shin Hye's label told TV Report, "Of course it's not true. There's no basis to the story. We don't know why that article was published in China. We're taking measures through our Chinese agency." Lee Min Ho's label similarly told TV Report, "There was a rumor in the past, too. There's nothing confirmed in that article. The [Heirs] team are so close with each other, which is probably why these reports are happening."

Super Junior's Donghae and Eunhyuk reunite in photo shoot for their Japanese album

With their upcoming Japanese promotions getting closer, Super Junior's Donghae shared a picture with Eunhyuk for their album photo shoot.    Donghae wrote via Twitter on the 23rd, "Filming the video for the Donghae & Eunhyuk Japanese concert!! It's our first time seeing each other in a while after my movie ended, heh. I missed you! My friend, heh." In the photo, Eunhyuk and Donghae are pictured in a busy studio wearing colorful outfits in preparation for their new album.    Recall that the two idols will be releasing their first Japanese album 'RIDE ME' on February 26th.

Shinhwa to hold their 16th anniversary concert in March without Andy

Shinhwa will be holding their 16th anniversary concert in March, but unfortunately fans will miss out on seeing one of the members, Andy.   The group debuted in 1998, and on March, it'll be the band's 16th year running. To celebrate, just like every year since 2012, Shinhwa will be holding their anniversary concert.   However, because of Andy's illegal gambling scandal last year, he won't be performing at the concert as he felt that it was only right that he sits out to reflect on himself. So that means fans will only get to see 5 members on stage. 

The group also delivered their thanks to fans, stating, "We sincerely thank the fans' enormous love that we've been given for the past 16 years. We're going to prepare even more for our 16th anniversary concert that'll happen this coming March, and promise to show you our best side. We don't have concrete plans for our 12th album release, but we'll work hard on it so our fans' anticipation is met."

Their label added, "Because of a series of events, only 5 members, excluding Andy, will be standing on stage at the 16th anniversary concert. But this does not mean at all that the Shinhwa members are changing. We thank the fans' unchanging love that they've been showing Shinhwa for the past 16 years, and we promise to show a Shinhwa that keeps working harder."

Lee Min Ho will become the first Korean celebrity to appear on China's CCTV's 'Spring Festival Gala'

Lee Min Ho will be the first Korean celebrity to appear on CCTV's 'Spring Festival Gala'!   His label said, "Lee Min Ho will appear on the show and sing the 'Boys Over Flowers' theme song 'A Last Resort' in Korean. It's the first time a Korean is appearing on the show, as a singer or an actor.
It's also the first time that Korean is being broadcast on China's CCTV. CCTV's 'Spring Festival Gala' is the highest-rated show for the Spring Festival. Its airing in 2012 holds the Guinness record for the highest TV rating ever. Over 70% of China's viewers watch the show.

Super Junior's Eunhyuk (28), A Pink's Eunji (21), and MC/Comedian Seo Kyung Suk (42) will host 'The 23rd Seoul Music Awards'!
The ceremony will be held at Jamsil Arena in Songpagu, Seoul and will be streamed live through KBS Joy, KBS Drama, and KBS W on the 23rd at 7-10 PM KST!

INFINITE's L cast as a secretary in 'Cunning Single Lady'

INFINITE's L has been cast in MBC's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Cunning Single Lady'!
Broadcast insiders told Sports Seoul, "L has been confirmed to appear on 'Cunning Single Lady', and he'll show his charms as an 'acting-dol'."   'Cunning Single Lady' will be a romance comedy centering on what unfolds when a former husband and wife meet each other once again after their divorce. 

Joo Sang Wook's character Cha Jung Woo is a passionate IT prodigy while Lee Min Jung's character Na Ae Ra put more effort into her looks than her studies and ended up marrying Cha Jung Woo. However, after their divorce, she went through a difficult life, which is why when she re-encounters her now wealthy husband, she decides to seduce him again. L will be playing Joo Sang Wook's secretary, 'Secretary Gil'. 

The drama will air on February 26th, so stay tuned!

INFINITE asks you to choose the 'COLOR OF INFINITE'!

INFINITE is asking fans to choose colors that fit each member the best!   The project kicked off at midnight KST on the 20th, and it'll run until March 19th. Fans can go to INFINITE's home page and vote once per day for whichever color they think matches the member the most. The color selection is actually quite diverse, ranging from 'blue curacao' to 'solar power' or even 'cadet'.   There's no hint on what this color-choosing may be for, but out of all the fans who vote, 100 lucky fans will be chosen to receive and 'Over the Top' golden album!

Lee Min Ho attracts 5,000 fans for his Seoul encore concert

Lee Min Ho attracted 5,000 fans who got to see the handsome actor in real life during his Seoul encore concert on the 18th!  Lee Min Ho held his encore concert, 'LEE MIN HO GLOBAL TOUR-MY EVERYTHING IN SEOUL ENCORE', with 5,000 fans in attendance at SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium on the 18th. 

Royal Pirates opened up the concert and once the fans called out Lee Min Ho's name, the actor entered the stage as he crooned "My Everything". As if he couldn't make them swoon anymore, Lee Min Ho also showcased his vocals with "Pieces of Love" and Kim Bum Soo's "Last Love". He also put on his sunglasses and joined special guests MonsterZ to get the crow wild with performances of "LOVE MOTION" and "My Little Princess".

When asked, "Is there a character which you liked during that time?" Lee Min Ho shared, "Playing the role of Goo Jun Pyo on 'Boys Over Flowers' was fun. Goo Jun Pyo was fun to the point that I wondered if there are really people like this."

"My character Choi Young in 'Faith' and Kim Tan in 'Heirs' are both similar manly men. If Choi Young is a person who is honest about his feelings, Kim Tan is innocent so he opens up his pure and innocent feelings... Yoon Sung in 'City Hunter' is also cool. Jun Jin Ho in 'Personal Taste' was a person very different from who I am... I can't choose between them."

"I think this concert was where I was closest to the audience. The thing I regret is that I wasn't able to approach each one of you." He then said goodbye to fans with encore songs, "Without You" and "Say Yes".

Lee Min Ho kicked off his global tour in Seoul back in May and attracted a total of 52,000 fans in eight cities across six countries including Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, China.

INFINITE's encore concert 'One Great Step Returns' in Seoul sells out immediately

INFINITE sold out all 20,000 tickets for their encore concert 'One Great Step Returns' to be held in Seoul!

Their agency Woollim revealed, "Immediately upon the opening of ticket sale, the reservation site Interpark went down. After an hour, the site was able to barely operate properly again. All of the 20,000 tickets were sold out and it attracted a traffic of 220,000 visitors signing on at the same time."

"The encore concert which will be held at Olympic Gymnastics Arena (Olympic Park) in front of 20,000 fans on February 28 and March 1. The concert will be based on the know-hows of the previous world tour, and they will reply to fans' passion with perfect production and spectacular format."

INFINITE, who previously performed across 21 cities in 15 countries in the span of 119 days for their 1st world tour 'ONE GREAT STEP', will return for an encore concert in Seoul, so hopefully those of you in Korea were able to get your hands on tickets!

Super Junior’s Kangin Thinks Eunhyuk Has a Crush on Him

Super Junior member Kangin recently shared with fans the affectionate nature between members. In particular, he shared screenshots of his recent text message conversation with fellow Super Junior member Eunhyuk.
The nickname Kangin has saved for Eunhyuk reads, “Tous Les Jours Anchovy” at the top of the messaging window. Tous Les Jours is a South Korean bakery franchise that offers a selection of “French-Asian” pastries and baked goods. Tous Les Jours also means “everyday” in French.
The conversation is as follows:
Eunhyuk: “Hyung, you look so much better with your hair down.”
Kang In: “Thanks, I look much younger don’t I?”
Eunhyuk: “Yep, and it looks like you lost weight.”

MBLAQ Featured on Mexican News Site as One of 2013′s Best International Artists

 

Idol group MBLAQ was chosen by a Mexican media outlet as one of the most notable international artists of 2013. 
Mexican news site “El Universal” chose the artists of the year, including Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Muse, and etc. MBLAQ’s hit song “Mona Lisa” was in first place there for 40 weeks straight, and their songs “Smoky Girl” and “This is War” were really popular, as well.
Last year, the “MBLAQ Global Tour Sensation” started in Mexico, and gathered over 10,000 fans. A local media official commented, “We’ve had K-Pop performances here before, but none of them were perfectly successful. MBLAQ’s performance was different.”
J.  Tune Camp, MBLAQ’s agency, said, “It’s a huge honor, and we are very happy. We will do our absolute best with MBLAQ’s new album, and will return the fans’ love with a great comeback.”

Lee Min Ho reveals which line was the most difficult to say on 'Heirs'

Actor Lee Min Ho met up with Aju News and revealed which line was the most difficult for him to say on SBS's 'Heirs'.

He said, "I personally like plays on words too... 'Do I like you?' is very original... The most difficult line was, 'Like me from now on. Sincerely, if that's possible.'"

Lee Min Ho added, "I received the script and that was the hardest. Strangely, it did not stick well." Still, it seems he managed to pull it off very nicely in the end, don't you think?

Meanwhile, Lee Min Ho is currently on break, but he will begin filming for new movie 'Gangnam Blues' in March, so you'll be able to see him again in a few months!

Song Joong Ki takes his first vacation from military service

It has been belatedly revealed that Song Joong Ki is quietly enjoying his first vacation from military service in five months!

An entertainment rep told OSEN on January 14, "Song Joong Ki took his first regular vacation on the 10th. We are aware that he is spending his days quietly with his family... He plans to return in the middle of next week... As this is his first vacation, a lot of people don't know, and he is resting quietly... He will spend a comfortable time with  family and friends and return."

His agency Blossom Entertainment rep told Star News on the 14th, "Song Joong Ki was released for his first vacation on the 10th... He is currently spending some quality time with his family and plans to greet his friends who he hasn't seen him in a while during his break... Following his 13-day-and-12-night vacation, he will return to his military unit on the 22nd."

Song Joong Ki is set to be discharged on May 26.

  First generation idol group g.o.d celebrated their 15th anniversary on January 13, and oldest member Park Joon Hyung wrote a handwritten letter to fans and announced that he has joined Kim Tae Woo's agency Soul Shop Entertainment!

Park Joon Hyung thanked fans on his Instagram, "To: Our family Fangod, Wow! 15 years have already went by at the blink of an eye!!! The timing couldn't be any more perfect to share the good news that the fellow g.o.d members, Park Joon Hyung and Kim Tae Woo, are reuniting as new labelmates! A Soul Shop Entertainment rep told Star News, "We signed with Park Joon Hyung a month ago... We signed with him thanks to Kim Tae Woo and g.o.d's connection... He will focus on the program planned for the States for the time being... There are no plans for Kim Tae Woo to return as [a member of] g.o.d right away."
