Infinite F Members Discuss the Major Stressors of Their Music Careers

 

Infinite sub-unit Infinite F’s Sungyeol, Sungjong, and L recently sat down with DJ Sunny of MBC FMFU, talking at length about the stress they’ve been experiencing as a result of their careers.

When Sunny told L that “his appearance was not suggestive of any serious stress,” L responded that “I’ve had a lot of stress in the past, and a lot now as well. You know, no matter what you do you hear negative comments from people. It’s quite stressful, really.” Hearing this, Sunny then asked, “So do you pay attention to these reactions and malicious comments?” L responded, “I look at all of them. If there are a thousand comments, I will read all of them and then just think about it all day long.”

Sungjong, Infinite F’s youngest member, said that “not having personal time” was a stressor for him. “As a teenager, I really enjoyed myself and really gave it my all. But when I transitioned into my 20’s, my worries began to multiply. There’s no free time, I only follow the group schedule. I’ve also really begun to wonder what it is that I’m truly good at. I know that fame doesn’t last forever and you can never predict what’s going to happen in the future. It makes me anxious.”

Listening to this, Sungyeol then said, “It’s the same for me.  When I was 22 years old, I had no free time for about nine months. I got really depressed as a result and even started to lose my hair.”  At this, Sunny asked if it was all right for an idol to disclose his hair loss issues, to which Sungyeol responded, “It’s okay. It’s all filled back in,” drawing laughter from everyone.

INFINITE’s L Reveals “Silent Guy” Concept Was Imposed By Company

INFINITE‘s “visual,” member L, who is currently promoting as 1/3 of the subgroup INFINITE F together with Sungyeol and Sungjong, has recently made a revelation regarding his “quiet type” on-screen image.
At the December 23 airing of MBC FM4U‘s “Sunny’s FM Date,” INFINITE’s sub-unit INFINITE F–composed of L, Sungyeol, and Sungjeong–talked to DJ Sunny about the changes they underwent now that they’re promoting as a sub group.
“L started to talk more,” remarked Sungjong and Sungyeol when asked by DJ Sunny what is the biggest difference between performing as INFINITE and as INFINITE F.
“When we promote as INFINITE, L almost never speaks a word. The company decided that he should not speak as his (image) concept. But now, he speaks a lot,” continued the members.
The “quiet and mysterious pretty boy” L added, “I am known to be the member who doesn’t and couldn’t speak much but I’m not (like that.)” L further explained, “During that time, I found it unfair. This is the first time that I’ve talked about it here, but I really speak well.”

Nichkhun, Yonghwa, Baro, L, and Song Min Ho(Mino) pose as Lucky Boys (Super 5) for 'SBS Gayo Daejun'

As previously reported, flower boys 2PM's Nichkhun, CNBLUE's Yonghwa, B1A4's Baro, INFINITE's L, and WINNER's Song Min Ho (Mino) teamed up for project group Lucky
Since the announcement, the awards ceremony has gone ahead to tease us with some photos and a video clip! Before our official introduction to the Lucky Boys, we see ZE:A's Kwanghee and M.I.B's Kangnam in the clip as they enter the SBS building to proudly present their badges as the manager and stylist for this project group.
