Last month, MONSTA X member Minhyuk revealed the date of his mandatory military enlistment to fans via the group's official fan cafe.
According to the announcement, Minhyuk will enlist in the military on April 4. Minhyuk is officially the second member of MONSTA X to begin his mandatory military service, following Shownu, who enlisted in July of 2021.
A few weeks following the announcement, Minhyuk updated fans through social media and showed his shaved hair, in preparation for his enlistment.
In the photos, Minhyuk has his hair in a buzz cut and is seen posing with member Kihyun. Despite his hair being cut short, Minhyuk still garnered praise for his handsome looks.
Fans are sad to see the idol go and commented, "He's still so good looking," "Don't go, I can't live without you," "I can't believe it's already the time for him to leave," "He's still so handsome with short hair," "Omg, I can't believe he shaved his head already," "Hope he comes back safely," and "Be safe!"
