SS501's Heo Young Saeng likely to enlist this November!

 

SS501's Heo Young Saeng is planning to enlist for his mandatory military service this November!

This would make him the second SS501 member to enlist following Kim Kyu Jong, who started his service in July of last year.

A rep from B2M Entertainment said, "It seems that Heo Young Saeng has decided to enlist by the end of this year. If he receives a draft notice, he will not delay it and plans to perform his duty to the country." 

After a health checkup, Heo Young Saeng was found to be fit for active duty by the Office of Military Manpower Administration.

Detailed information about his exact enlistment date and training location have yet to be decided.

Se ha reportado que Son Ho Young se está recuperando satisfactoriamente después de ser admitido en una Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos tras su intento de suicidio.

Un representante del hospital informó a Star News sobre la actual condición del cantante: “Son Ho Young está mejorando. Todavía no lo he visto comer pero ahora está durmiendo bien”.

Este intento de suicidio pasó hace dos días después del suicidio de su novia. El 23 de mayo, su novia (no celebridad) fue encontrada muerta en el auto del cantante con un frasco de pastillas para dormir, una briqueta de carbón quemada y una nota suicida. El reporte de autopsia reveló que ella murió por envenenamiento de gas. Son Ho Young fue interrogado junto los integrantes de su familia y después fue liberado. Él asistió al funeral con los integrantes de familia de la fallecida.

El 24 de mayo alrededor de las 4AM, Son Ho Young estacionó su auto en el estacionamiento de la Iglesia Onnuri e incendió una briqueta de carbón, intentando suicidarse por envenenamiento de gas. En cierto punto, algo en el auto se encendió lo cual llamó la atención de una persona quien alertó a la policía. Danny Ahn and Lee Sang Bong leave words of encouragement for Son Ho Young

Following the heartbreaking whirlwind of events that has happened to Son Ho Young in the past week, his close celebrities came forward to express their distraught at the unfortunate happenings and asked the public for their prayers. 

 

Fellow g.o.d member Danny Ahn tweeted on the morning of the 25th, "I saw my dongseng just the other night. Because we were both busy, I was only able to see him for a short time...Please pray for him more. A lot more." Danny Ahn has since deleted his tweet, possibly to show respect for Son Ho Young's privacy during this sensitive time. 

Designer Lee Sang Bong shared, "I was so shocked upon hearing news of Son Ho Young's suicide attempt. His unbearable pain and with the hurtful backlash, he would be hurting even more. My  heart hurts. Have courage, Son Ho Young! You have even more fans who love you."

Danny Ahn Tweets, “I Just Saw Son Ho Young…Please Pray For Him”

 

On May 25, fellow G.O.D member Danny Ahn tweeted early in the morning, “I just saw Son Ho Young a couple hours ago. Because there is an allotted time for visiting hours, I wasn’t able to see much of him. Please pray for him, pray for him a lot.”

Danny Ahn’s tweet has been deleted since, but netizens have taken a screen capture and shared it in online community forums.

Another G.O.D member, Park Joon Hyung also tweeted, “Hello everyone, as you might already know, our Ho Young is going through a lot. Like an older brother, watching Son Ho Young go through this and not being able to do anything pains me as well. The only thing I can do is pray for him and be there for him when he needs someone. Actor Song Joong Ki Still Helps Part-time With His Parents’ Car Wash Business

On May 24, Ahn Sun Young revealed on tvN’s “Star Talk Show” that she would objectively pick Song Joong Ki as first place for best husband material.

She explained, “Putting aside Song Joong Ki’s beautiful face, he is the definition of a man who earns his keep. One time, I went with my staff to visit Song Joong Ki’s parents’ car wash business out in the countryside and the place was crowded with business. g.o.d's Park Joon Hyung asks the public to refrain from writing negative comments regarding Son Ho Young and the recent unfortunate events

 

g.o.d's, Park Joon Hyung expressed his heart following the unfortunate series of events that have recently surrounded his fellow former member, Son Ho Young.

Son Ho Young's manager sobs as he begs reporters to get out of the way at the hospital



A video taken at the hospital where Son Ho Young was admitted for emergency care has stricken a sad chord with viewers.

Son Ho Young was admitted to the hospital on the 24th after his suicide attempt, but because of all the reporters scrambling to get a photo of him, the hospital staff had difficulty wheeling Son Ho Young into the hospital rooms. At first, the hospital staff tried to yell their way through. However, when Son Ho Young actually appeared, wheeled in on a hospital bed with a blanket covering his face, the reporters scrambled in a mad rush. Son Ho Young's manager finally broke down and sobbed as he cried out, "Please, let him live! Please!", over and over again as he tried to clear the way and get Son Ho Young admitted to the hospital.

According to the police, at 4:36 AM, Son Ho Young parked his car at a parking lot near Onnuri Church, Seoul and attempted to commit suicide in the same method as his girlfriend by lighting butane gas inside his car. The car caught on fire, and as the singer tried to back away from it, a passerby noticed the fumes coming out of the car and made a call to the police for help. He was then rushed to the hospital.

He'll be in the hospital for 2-4 days recovering not only his physical health, but his mental health as well. We hope for the best for Son Ho Young.

Shin Bora expresses her wish to work on a movie with Song Joong Ki

And who can blame her? Like so many other female celebrities, comedian Shin Bora revealed that she would love to work with actor Song Joong Ki.

At the press conference for the animated movie 'Kaiketsu Zorori', which features the comedian's voice, Shin Bora let her inner fan girl out. She stated, "I want to do a dubbing project with Song Joong Ki. I want him to be the male lead, while I play the female lead."

She didn't forget to mention her current boyfriend and fellow comedian Kim Ki Ri, however, saying, "I want to add in the role of an employee. I wonder how it would be if he [Kim Ki Ri] played the character," bringing laughs as she gave the lead role to Song Joong Ki and an employee role to her boyfriend.

Singer Son Ho Young has been reported to have attempted suicide in his car on the morning of the 24th.

According to the police, at 4:36 AM, Son Ho Young parked his car at a parking lot near Onnuri Church, Seoul and attempted to commit suicide in the same method as his girlfriend by lighting butane gas inside his car. The car caught on fire, and as the singer tried to back away from it, a passerby noticed the fumes coming out of the car and made a call to the police for help. He was then rushed to the hospital and was treated immediately, and is fortunately said to be fine with no damage to his health.

Prior to this incident, the singer attended the funeral for his girlfriend and stayed at the wake for the whole day.

His agency has stated that they're still checking into the matter, and for the sake of Son Ho Young as well as his loved ones, they're not sure if an official statement will be released at all regarding the matter.

We wish Son Ho Young a speedy recovery and hope that he can pull through this heartbreaking occurrence.

[Breaking] Son Ho Young Attempts Suicide After the Tragic Death of His Girlfriend

After the recent news of the death of his girlfriend, singer Son Ho Young’s attempted suicide is shocking and saddening the fans.

In the early morning of May 24, Son Ho Young attempted suicide using the same method as his deceased girlfriend. According to the police, he parked his car in a public parking lot in Seoul and lighted a coal briquette, intending to kill himself of gas poisoning. However, the inside of the car caught fire, and Son Ho Young was able to get himself out of the car. Fire fighters were called immediately by a passerby.

Son Ho Young is currently being treated at a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Many feel that this attempt was made due to the tragic death of his girlfriend, as well as the malicious rumors and comments that followed afterward by the netizens.

Shinhwa laugh off the 'M! Countdown' mistake during their win

Once you've been in the industry for 15 years, not much fazes you - and Shinhwa showed that they were true professionals who could laugh off mistakes.

The veteran group won the May 23 episode of 'M! Countdown', but when the  1st place nominees were announced for the episode, the video showed Cho Yong Pil, Yoo Seung Woo, and Vibe instead of the actual nominees which were 4minute and Shinhwa. Thankfully, the mistake was corrected quickly,

Minwoo, Hyesung, and Junjin were MCing for the episode, and while other groups might have been flustered or annoyed at the mistake, the three laughed it off and said, "Sorry. The wrong video went out", and Hyesung added, "This is the charm of being a live broadcast."

In the end, Shinhwa won the episode, and they were joined for a brief moment by SHINee on their encore stage, who tried their own hand at vogueing.

MBLAQ's mini album 'Sexy Beat' to be released on June 4th

 

MBLAQ previously hinted on their comeback for the first week of June and it seems the specific date will actually be June 4th!

MBLAQ's copyright request to the The Korea Copyright Association was spotted, giving fans a sneak peek at the group's album's title, tracklist and release date. 

According to the listing, the upcoming 5th mini album is titled 'SEXY BEAT' contains the tracks, "CELEBRATE", "DRESS UP", "R U OK", "SEXY BEAT", "Girl", and "SMOKY GIRL". The songs also include the participation of talented producers and artists like Zion.T, Simon D, Primary, Crush, Maybee, and more!

So if things go according to plan for the boys, it seems we'll be saying 'Oh Yeah' soon enough because MBLAQ will return on June 4th!

Son Ho Young to halt official promotions for the time being

Son Ho Young, who recently faced the sudden and unfortunate news of his girlfriend's death, will be halting official promotions for the time being.

He'll be leaving his special DJ position on the MBC radio show FM4U's 'Two O'Clock Date', effective immediately, as well as his role on the sitcom 'A Bit of Love' and other projects.

Son Ho Young was originally supposed to temporarily fill in for Joo Young Hoon, who left the radio program for two weeks, and began his rotation on the 20th and 21st. However, following the shocking turn of events, Park Myung Soo and Eun Ji Won will now replace Son Ho Young as the DJs this week with Park Myung Soo also in talks to become a regular DJ for the show.

[Breaking] Son Ho Young’s Girlfriend Discovered Dead in His Car

 

It has been reported that Son Ho Young‘s girlfriend was discovered dead in his car. She has reportedly ended her own life.

The Gangnam police station commented on May 22, “A used briquet, an empty bottle of sleeping pills and a suicide note was discovered in the car,” and “We assume that this is a suicide.” It has been reported that the suicide note contained information about the deceased’s debts and other self-pessimistic messages.

Son Ho Young’s reps reported on May 22, “On May 21, Son Ho Young was in the Gangnam Police Station from 10PM to 12AM to be investigated. Before he received a call from the police, he did not know about this at all.”

According to Son Ho Young’s official statement, the deceased was in a serious relationship with Son Ho Young for a year and was a non-celebrity.

The car is Son Ho Young’s personal vehicle, a Kia Carnival, which was purchased for his work activities. It is known that he lent the car to the deceased multiple times for driving practice purposes. Son Ho Young’s reps also commented, “Due to Son Ho Young’s preparations for his upcoming album, he has gotten busier. This caused him to have minor arguments with the deceased but it wasn’t to the point where something this big could happen.”

Son Ho Young is reported to be in an extreme state of shock, as he had no knowledge or predictions about this event. So he is not able to continue on with his activities such as the radio show “2 O’clock Date” and the sitcom, “Pure Love.”

His reps also mentioned, “We apologize for causing worry through this bad news. We sincerely ask that the media won’t publish unconfirmed assumptions for the sake of the deceased and her family. Finally, we offer our deepest condolences to the deceased.”

On May 21, Son Ho Young’s vehicle was discovered illegally parked in Gangnam. When a tow truck came to tow the car away, the driver of the truck discovered a dead female inside and then immediately called the police.

Son Ho Young's label releases official statement about body in his car, reveals woman was his girlfriend

 

There was a huge shock when news erupted that a dead woman's body was found in Son Ho Young's car. Now, more details have emerged through an official statement released by his label, CJ E&M.

CJ E&M said, "Son Ho Young was investigated by the Gangnam Police Station related to the dead woman's body being found in his car. After participating in the investigation, he just returned home recently. He was investigated from 10-12PM on the 21st, and he had no idea about the situation until he was contacted by the police. Currently, he's so shocked that he can't even make a statement. We ask for your understanding in the matter."

On the many rumors surrounding the identity of the woman, they said, "There are many rumors that the woman is a celebrity that Son Ho Young had dated before. We checked, and we are even more cautious to say anything because she is a non-celebrity who had been dating Son Ho Young seriously for about a year."

On her suicide, the label said, "Recently, they had a small argument because he became busy for his album preparations. However, it was not a situation that should have grown into this. They didn't break up, and they were doing fine, so Son Ho Young is in shock more than anything because of this sudden situation."

The car is Son Ho Young's own car, but she borrowed it often in order to practice her driving. On his future schedules, his label said, "He won't be able to participate in any formal schedules."

A dead body found in Son Ho Young's car

 

A suspicious dead body was discovered in a car belonging to Son Ho Young (33).

According to the police on the 21st, the body of a dead woman was found in a car registered under Son Ho Young.

The police reported, "The car was found near the Seoul Gangnam Misung Apartments on the 15th. It was towed because there was a report that there was an illegal car in that location. However, no owner appeared to claim it after a few days, so we examined the inside of the car, and discovered a dead body. We verified the owner of the car, and it was Son Ho Young. We called Son Ho Young late this afternoon to investigate this matter."

The police are currently leaning toward suicide as a possible answer. The police stated, "We found a written will in the car, so we believe this is suicide."

Son Ho Young's label said, "It is Son Ho Young's car. It's also true that he is close with the deceased female, and it's also true that he was under police investigations for this. He had met up with her often but that became less frequent because he was preparing for his album. Shortly thereafter, she suddenly cut off all contact with him, and both her family and he were worried about her. The police call then came for him for the investigation."

Currently, there is no concrete decision by the police and the case is ongoing.

MBLAQ to come back first week of June with "Smokey Girl"!

MBLAQ recently held a photoshoot with 'Cosmopolitan' magazine, and they revealed more details of their long awaited comeback. 

During the interview, they confirmed that they're coming back in June along with the name of their title track. Mir said, "The song 'Smokey Girl' is really addicting. The choreography is also very sexy. I hope you look forward to it." 

Seungho added on, "MBLAQ is planning on coming back in the first week of June, so please look forward to it." We don't have much information about the album yet, but what more news could we need than that they're coming back?

College students pick Suzy and Song Joong Ki as the #1 person to date on 'Day of Adults'

 

May 20th marked the 'Day of Adults' in Korea - in other words, people who turn 20 this year have a day to celebrate where they officially become adults! To celebrate this date, an online Korean portal surveyed 1,707 college students on who they wanted to go on a date with on this special date, and not surprisingly, Suzy and Song Joong Ki gained the honor of being #1!

Suzy took 41% of the total vote out of the females, HyunA trailed her by quite a margin in second place with 19%. YoonA came in third with 13.2%, Lee Yeon Hee with 11.7%, Shin Min Ah with 8.4%, and Ga In with 6.8%.

It was a totally different story for the guys, as both Song Joong Ki and Kim Soo Hyun were neck-and-neck, with Song Joong Ki's 26.8% narrowly defeating Kim Soo Hyun's 25.9%. Lee Seung Gi, Jo Jung Suk, Jo In Sung, and G-Dragon followed with 16.4%, 13.1%, 10.6%, and 7.3% respectively.

Why did Hyesung get scolded by Lee Soo Man?

Hyesung revealed that he was scolded by SM Entertainment founder Lee Soo Man in the past.

All 6 Shinhwa members were guests on the May 16 episode of ‘Happy Together 3‘. On the program, MC Park Mi Sun asked them, “Since there are 6 of you, individually, you must have wanted to stand out on stage. Did you have something that you did to stand out?“. Hyesung laughed as he answered, “You know how you want to stand out more during your part? I wanted to look cool, so I danced too intensely for my part, even though it didn’t really fit.”

He demonstrated a bit while sitting down, and of course all the members knew exactly what he was talking about because Dongwan started to crack up next to him, saying, “It was exactly that.” Hyesung revealed, “The members made fun of me, and Lee Soo Man was our CEO back then, and he scolded me, too.”

Junjin stood up to demonstrate himself. It was actually a part from the debut song “The Solver“, and Hyesung over-exaggerated the choreography and ended up looking a little ridiculous. He said, “We watched the performance while we were in the back and thought, ‘What the heck is he doing?’“.

Dongwan further revealed, “We all knew that he was just trying to work hard, so we made fun of him a little but didn’t say much else. But what’s funny is that after the stage, our manager told us, ‘Lee Soo Man called me and told me to tell Hyesung not to do that.’” Junjin and Andy added, “He’s not someone who would say something like that usually.”

The story didn’t end there as Eric had his own part to put in, saying, “After that, Lee Soo Man called us over to the recording studio, stood us all in a line, and said in a serious manner, ‘Hyesung, don’t do that again.’”

As a result, Hyesung revealed that he asked the choreographer to tell him what to do during his solo parts instead of his over-exaggerating ad-libs. The talk ended with Hyesung himself getting up and demonstrating what happened in 1997, cracking up everyone in the studio.
