There was a huge shock when news erupted that a dead woman's body was found in Son Ho Young's car. Now, more details have emerged through an official statement released by his label, CJ E&M.
CJ E&M said, "Son
Ho Young was investigated by the Gangnam Police Station related to the
dead woman's body being found in his car. After participating in the
investigation, he just returned home recently. He was investigated from
10-12PM on the 21st, and he had no idea about the situation until he was
contacted by the police. Currently, he's so shocked that he can't even
make a statement. We ask for your understanding in the matter."
On the many rumors surrounding the identity of the woman, they said, "There
are many rumors that the woman is a celebrity that Son Ho Young had
dated before. We checked, and we are even more cautious to say anything
because she is a non-celebrity who had been dating Son Ho Young
seriously for about a year."
On her suicide, the label said, "Recently,
they had a small argument because he became busy for his album
preparations. However, it was not a situation that should have grown
into this. They didn't break up, and they were doing fine, so Son Ho
Young is in shock more than anything because of this sudden situation."
The
car is Son Ho Young's own car, but she borrowed it often in order to
practice her driving. On his future schedules, his label said, "He won't be able to participate in any formal schedules."
